Project Food has launched a new series of cooking and gardening sessions designed to improve mental health.
Meeting twice a month from the 15th of September, ‘Food and Mood’ will help you to explore the relationship between what you eat and how you feel.
We will combine teaching cooking skills in a supportive environment to boost confidence and use recipes to help you feel great, along with lessons on basic gardening in our new purpose-built garden space in Axminster Hospital.
Keeping the group small, no more than 8 people, will help you to develop friendships and confidence to improve your mental and physical health.
If you, or someone you know, struggles with their mental health and would benefit from these sessions, please call us on 01297 631782 or email info@project-food.org.uk and someone will call you back.
Booking is essential to ensure the group is a safe space.
The group will meet between 10.30am and 12.30pm on the following dates:
15th September
6th and 20th October
3rd and 17th November
1st and 15th December
