April 2025 Newsletter is Out Now!
Hello everyone,
We are excited to announce that the Project Food Newsletter – April 2025 -exercise for good health is now available! This month, we’re focusing on the importance of exercise for good health. Don’t worry, we’re not asking you to run a marathon or hit the gym five times a week. Instead, we’ve included simple exercises that can be easily incorporated into your daily routine and can make a big impact with just a little effort.
Highlights from this month’s newsletter:
Exercise for Good Health:
Low Impact Exercises: Dr. Rangan Chatterjee, a well-known GP and author, shares his recommendations for low impact exercises suitable for most people. These exercises can help form healthy habits that are beneficial to your physical and mental health.
Star Jumps: Learn how to modify star jumps to make them easier and safer, especially if you have limited fitness or joint issues. Try doing them while waiting for the kettle to boil in the morning!
Seated Exercises: For those with limited mobility, we have included seated exercises like toe raises, which are great for strengthening your thighs. These can be done while watching TV or listening to the radio.
Recipe of the Month:
Veggie Chilli: A delicious and nutritious recipe that serves four. Packed with vegetables, beans, and lentils, this chilli is perfect for those looking to reduce meat in their diet. It also freezes well, so you can make a bigger batch and save some for later.
Top Tips:
We hope you enjoy this month’s newsletter and find the tips and recipes helpful. Remember, incorporating small amounts of exercise into your daily routine can lead to big health benefits over time.
