New Community Cook-Along and Warm Space Coming to Chard!

Looking for a warm, welcoming space this winter? We’re excited to launch our Community Cook-Along at St Mary’s Centre, Chard, every Monday and Friday starting 1st December, 10:30am – 1pm. 

This is your chance to enjoy good food, meet new people, and learn practical skills to make life a little easier. Here’s what you can expect: 

  • Cook lunch with us – or simply come along for the meal, no pressure! 
  • Learn new recipes and boost your confidence in the kitchen 
  • Discover how to adapt your diet for better health 
  • Find ways to save time and money when cooking 
  • Meet new people, share ideas, and make friends 
  • Take home ingredients to recreate the recipe 

This warm space is open to everyone living in Chard, especially parents, carers, people on low incomes, adults with mental health challenges, and those with diet-related conditions. Everyone is welcome!
