Welcome to our May update! We’re excited to share some fantastic developments across Project Food. From the launch of a brand-new community hub in Axminster to hands-on cooking sessions in Ottery St Mary and a new diabetes-friendly cooking course in Seaton, there’s something for everyone this month. We’d love for you to get involved.
We’re thrilled to announce the upcoming launch of Project Food Hub, a vibrant new initiative based at Axminster Hospital. This welcoming space is designed to bring people together through food, learning, and community support.
At the heart of the hub are our Community Cook-alongs, running three days a week. These sessions use surplus produce from local farms, food producers, and supermarkets to create simple, nutritious meals. Everyone is welcome—whether you’re a parent, carer, living on a low income, or managing a health condition.
