We are thrilled to announce the launch of two new cooking sessions at Ottery St Mary Hospital, designed to support families and individuals in our community. These sessions are made possible through our collaboration with The National Lottery Community Fund and NHS Property Services.
Starting on Wednesday, 4th June 2025, from 4:15 PM to 5:45 PM, Project Food will host a series of “Cooking with Kids” sessions at our new hub in Ottery St Mary Hospital. These sessions are open to all families in need of extra support. This initiative aims to assist with fussy eating, mealtime challenges, and Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). It’s a fantastic opportunity for parents, carers, and children to cook and enjoy meals together in a supportive environment.
Beginning on Monday, 2nd June 2025, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, we will offer “Cooking With Confidence” sessions tailored for individuals managing diet-related illnesses, those looking to cook healthier meals from scratch, manage a healthy weight, or learn how to cook well for themselves to support their mental and physical health, all whilst being on a budget. Participants will learn to create delicious, nutritious meals in a fun and supportive setting, helping them achieve their dietary goals and improve overall well-being.
Both sessions will be held at: Ottery St Mary Hospital
