We recently welcomed BBC Spotlight news to our kitchens to film a news feature on our cooking classes for children from low-income families or with SEND. Working with River Cottage and NHS Property Services volunteers, we hosted 3 days of cooking classes for children in Axminster.
The children had the amazing opportunity to cook alongside some of the top chefs in our local area whilst learning to cook some fun, nutritious recipes and learn some valuable skills for them to continue to use at home.
The BBC gave us some fantastic coverage on their evening programme that showcased just one of the many projects we are doing with our local community.
If you didn’t get to catch the feature live, you can check it out here. Please be sure to give it a ‘like’!
