Summer at Project Food: Connection, Cooking & Community

As the sun shines brighter we are  thrilled to share all the exciting things happening at Project Food this summer! Our Summer 2025 Newsletter is packed with stories, upcoming events and practical tips to help you and your family eat better and live well.

From the buzzing success of our new Food Hub to free family cooking sessions in Chard, there’s something for everyone to enjoy. We’re also incredibly excited to announce a very special evening with Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall at the stunning Netherton Hall this September – a night of conversation, canapés and community, all in support of families facing food poverty.

You’ll also find fun hydration tips to help beat the heat and a delicious Mackerel and potato salad recipe straight from our community cook-alongs.
