Our sell out wine tasting fundraiser is back!

After the huge sell-out success of our last event, we are delighted to invite you to come and join us on Friday 1st December for a wine tasting evening at The Woodlands Hotel in Sidmouth.  A fantastic opportunity to learn about the art of tasting wine while raising money to help support people living in food poverty.

Doors will open at 6 p.m. When you arrive at the hotel, we will have some delicious local soft drinks and juices and canapes ready for you. You can then browse our fantastic raffle and auction prizes up for grabs.

Once seated, Husky Wines Managing Director and Dalwood Vineyard Director, Mike Huskins will then talk you through his carefully selected local and imported wines and teach you how to get the most out of this wine tasting experience. Sample 8 – 10 wines with Mike’s expert guidance and release your inner wine enthusiast.

A tantalising charcuterie and cheese board made by the talented Woodlands Hotel Chef will be included in the ticket price.

As the wine tasting experience draws to a close, a cash bar will be available, and we will continue the evening with music and dancing.  We will then draw the raffle and hold our auction of some great prizes kindly donated by our local Sidmouth businesses.  The event will draw to a close at 11.30pm.

Why not make a weekend of it and book a night at The Woodlands Hotel? We are delighted to be able to offer Project Food guests attending this event a fantastic price of just £25 per person.  (Please note that the hotel will be closed to all other guests this weekend and this rate is for the night of the event only. There will not be the option to book additional nights). Please contact the hotel directly on 01395 513120 to book your room.
